This album is in memory of all those who have lost their lives due to IBDs and to those who are continuously suffering.

This album is dedicated, in particular, to Sir Roy Shaw (the grandfather of Dawson, who features on this album). Sir Roy was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in the latter part of his school life which meant he was unable to gain his Higher School Certificate. Later on in his life he was appointed as the head of Adult Education at the University of Keele, and was subsequently made a Professor in 1967. While at Keele he became a member of the Board of Governors of the BBC and the British Film Institute, and was involved in the foundation of the Open University. He was Secretary-General of the Arts Council of Great Britain from 1975-1983 and was knighted in 1979. A remarkable man! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Shaw_(arts_administrator)
